House for rent
This morning I went with my parents to look at a possible house for them to rent. It’s a small two bedroomed detached house on a very nice estate near to our house. They ought to be able to get everything they’re taking with them in there, although it may be a bit of a squeeze because they have some large pieces. Still, it’s only for a few months. The second bedroom will be used purely as storage space, hopefully they won’t even be unpacking very much.
If all goes well with the survey on Monday, contracts could be exchanged quite soon, at which point they will be able to sign a contract for whatever rental they decide upon, with a view to moving in by the end of October. Leases are standard for six months, perhaps a little longer than we really need but at least it will allow for bad weather delays and finishing touches to be done before they move in with us.
