You Are a Chocolate Chip Cookie
Traditional and conservative, most people find you comforting.
You're friendly and easy to get to know. This makes you very popular - without even trying!
What Kind of Cookie Are You?

It's about time we get a payout from all those warm chocolate chip cookies us gals at work get from the deli in our building! Even though I LOVE chocolate chip cookies, my favorite cookies to bake...and eat are Snickerdoodles, from a recipe passed on to me from my grandmother.

SNICKERDOODLES

½ C butter or margarine (real butter is best)
¾ C sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla
1-1/2 C flour
1 t baking powder
½ t baking soda
¼ t salt

2 T sugar
2 t cinnamon
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Beat butter and sugar 5-8 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  4. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt over mixture.
  5. Stir with wooden spoon until stiff
  6. Shape into ½" balls and roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture.
  7. Bake at 375°F 10-12 minutes.

Makes about 3 dozen.

Seriously, when I have to make these for family functions and what-not, I have to make 5 or 6 BATCHES! That's alot of cookies.
