Yeah, today at Gibson's I earned the title of F.D.A. Fucking Dumb Ass. Since I forgot to take my medicine, today was about the worse day of work ever. First off I burnt the okra, chicken fingers and messed up two slabs of ribs trying to get a 1/2 one all at the same time. Then as i was cleaning the stew pot I made a huge mess. Then instead of turning it off I turned it all the way on. (theres nothing in the pot) The whole thing exploded with steam cause its like a double boiler with an inner layer with water in it. It was scary as hell. Then as I was taking a kids chicken finger plate to the counter where the waitresses pick them up, but as i was doing this Stan (one of hte older, nicer dudes there)tells me to catch. Now i thinking he's tossing a pickle cause they always garnish our plates so i turn aorudn to try ot catch it with the plate. But no, he's throwing a honey mustard. Food goes everywhere. But luckily we run a clean establishment so I just puti t back on the plate after dropping it in the grease a bit.
So now I am FDA the second cause thats what they call chrom all ready. As i was leaveing Keith wooden came up to me joking wiht me and said, "Now drive home safe. Rememaber red means stop. Do i have to call to make sure you get home safe?"
