MGS has good characters, but their dialogue is fucking terrible most of the time. It's pretty obvious that Kojima has never spoken to another human being in his life. Regardless, Snake is one of the best characters in media history.
MGS4--story was great, characters were great, scenarios were great, graphics were great, sound quality was great, gameplay was great, and the music was mediocre. 9/10, with a point off for the very very bad dialogue. Everyone knows that MGS has always had soap opera dialogue, but you'd think they'd pick it up after 20+ years. Nope.
Wow, what the fuck; I just saw Assassin's Creed in the MGS4 credits. Freaky. I just looked it up and apparently you can get Altair's costume in MGS4.
22 hours played, and I got the FROG title.
