On... Played a show.
Ok... so that was a lot of fun. Just finished playing a show at the Caledonia... It was really Telenovela, I just played Mellophone and Trumpet on some songs. I played with Meghan and some other people. It was cool.
Thanks to people who came out : Katie and Heidi. Plus... Simon and Ivy came too.. and my great roommate Noah. I think Drew was there too, and Lars, Padmini and Grant also...
I enjoyed the practices and the performance.
I have to wake up early and do HW. Then back to school for the second week (of three) Then... I get to hang out (more) with my friends... maybe New York etc etc...
So... I started re-writing my Grad School Script (potential application script). I am on the third scene (of 18) and on page seven (scene one is long)... so the entire piece is going to be pretty long. It is about an 18 year old black girl who lives in Brooklyn. She lives with her mother and works at a grocery store. Her mother is pretty mean and she is "damaged" as well. We will see how it will turn out.
I also brainstormed the other day with Brian and Katie regarding Brian's short film. I am thinking Denise should be in it too. That could be cool.
Still working on pre-production for "Shortcuts" and I have not begun writing "?".
