It's not enough to live today,
To let your children out to play.
To make a smile when it rains.
It's not okay.
It's not enough to remember outright,
That this morning my not turn into night,
Our words aren't what we write.
It's not alright.
How many of us are really okay?
Do we face our fears, or lock them all away?
Do we come together to pray,
On Sunday Morning Speculation.
It's not enough to say you're doing fine,
Eager smiles and a glass of wine,
But you know this all fades with time,
And it isn't fine.
It's not enough to remember,
The feelings of December,
The ways in which you always were,
To remember her.
How many of us are really okay?
Do we face our fears, or lock them all away?
Do we come together to pray,
On Sunday Morning Speculation.
Do we want to be okay?
Or do we suffer day to day,
Do we come together to pray,
On Sunday Morning Speculation.
