A/N: This was written for the 100th Suliet thread at FanFourm. I love you girls and could have not gotten through this season without you.
A special shout out to Sib, Nanda and Ross. It was so much fun talking with you girls these past few months.
This takes place after the reunion but before the church scene. We noticed that in one of the promo pics Juliet was wearing what looks like an engagement ring and this fic was born. I did paraphrase a quote from Josh "Without Juliet, "He's in hell."

As their lips touched and tongues collied, it felt like coming home. They could hardly believe that they were here, that this was really happening.
As their lips parted, out of breath James could not help but marvel at how gorgeous she looked; beautiful blond hair and stunning blue eyes that could always see through him no matter what.
"What?" Juliet asked almost shyly.
"You have no idea, how I've missed ya. How hard it was to keep on going. And now you're here, right in front of me." Juliet did not say anything, she did not need to, they were always able to read each other without saying a word and time did not change that.
"You wanna get outta here?"
"Sure. Let me just put my lab coat away."
After quickly getting her things they made their way back to her place. Once inside his lips were on her in an istant, kissing anything he could get access to. As they made their way to the bedroom a trail of clothes was left behind.

Juliet woke to James kissing her shoulder."Mmm,"
"Good morning."
"Moring."
Neither could keep the huge smiles off their faces. It was contagious.
"I think we should have a shower before we go."
"Well Blondie I definitely agree." He said with the charismatic smirk that had made her fall in love with him all over again.
After what turned out to be a very long shower, they got a little distracted, but what did it matter there was no time there; they got dressed.
"I wanna stop by my apartment before we go to the church okay?"
"Sure."
As he pulled up to his building he got a little nervous, but he looked at her so happy and peaceful, more than he had ever seen her before and he knew it would be okay.
Once inside he went to his bedroom to get it. What his Grandmother left him. He started at it for a good minute, wanting to take it all in. That they were really here (wherever here was) together, knowing that nothing could separate them now.
Juliet was sitting down on the couch. For the first time his apartment felt like a home, all he needed was somebody to make him feel at home and there she was.
He got down on one knee cause damn if he was going to do this he was going to do it right.
"James?" Juliet asked a bit suripsed although she was fairly sure she knew what was about to happen
"Juliet ya know I love ya .I was just kind of wandering around in life and then I got on that plane. And we got stuck in the 70's and it was the best damn thing that had ever happened to me. You made me want to be a better man. Without you I was in hell, it was painful to survive. When I got off the island my daughter was the only reason I was able to go on. I have you now and I never intend to let you go. Will you marry me?"
"Absolutely. I love you James so much."
"I love you back."
That's when he knew that everything hey have gone through, all the misery and sepration, it was all worth it, now they would be together for eternity.
