[Lym heard the noise and saw a large group of people, she was struggling with some sort of a statue bust and three jackets, but the air around her seemed warmer as she tried to bang on the door twice and failed before just kind of ramming it]
[Thor experiences a good half-minute in which he is sure that some enemy is attempting to break the door down, and despairs that his hammer is on the front lawn, useless, and also periodically flickering in and out of existence. Of course Mayfield would send an enemy now, when he is weaponless and protecting a house full of defenseless people--!
But when he wrenches the door open with a warlike growl, he is rather surprised to find Lym on the doorstep rather than a raging troll. And rather annoyed by this.]
Think you to break my door down? It is cold enough without making kindling of it!
That's admirable! We've a fire inside, and the hall well-guarded against the wind - but come in and refresh yourself, if you've a mind! There's food and drink enough for many.
[Thor reaches for the bust and hoists it with one arm, turning to look for a place to set it in the crowded room. He speaks over his shoulder--]
Come in, then, and welcome to the hall of the son of Odin! ...Shut the door behind you!
[After a moment's thought, he sets the bust down on the side of the room furthest from the fire - better to have both halves warmed equally, after all.]
HEY! IS THERE A THING IN THERE? I HEAR A THING!

...Though technically, he notes, she hasn't asked it yet.]
Look you-- if you seek warmth, then my hall is open to you! But do not stand here where the wind will undo all the work done in warming it!

Actually, I wanted to help other people! When its working my rune is warm and it'd be selfish to just hog it.
