I FUCKING BOUGHT A FUCKING CAR. FUCK.
Ok, so I wasn't planning to actually BUY the car tonight, but the first place I went had a car with absolutely everything that I had on my list of requirements, and everything on my list of "this would be cool too" for $300 less than I was prepared to have to pay.
It's a 2006 Nissan Ultima, "smoke" in color, and it is freaking HUGE. It's the first car I've ever driven where I can't reach the pedals with the seat all the way back. Also, Spazzy can fit in the trunk with room leftover for luggage. This isn't a conjecture, either: Spazzy actually got in the trunk when he saw how big it was.
Payments are going to suck for the first few months since I have a crappy paying job now, and my credit card debt is big and I had to finance it through the dealer. But in a few months, after I've been working my nice, new, high-paying job I'll be able to re-finance it through the credit union that is affiliated with the county, and that will drop almost $100/mo. off my payments.
So, all-in-all I'm pretty happy with it. Let's hope it doesn't get totaled in the middle of the night, or something.
