Last weekend was the last weekend of
20at20, a promotion in NYC that allows anyone to see a participating off-broadway show for just 20 bucks. You basically just show up 20 minutes before the show, and if there are tickets left, you score one for a measly 20 bucks.
I read about Walmartopia in the papers, and was interested to catch the show because of its anti-establishment/big corporate theme (in this case Walmart). Of course, having worked in consumer goods + my desire to go into retail persuaded me too.
Overall, very very funny, but the lyrics/songs suck. Dynamo (one of the last brands I handled) also has a very prominent cameo.
