Monday the 26th...
...felt like Friday the 13th!
First, I was having lunch at Dome Cafe in Paragon and I accidentally spilled water all over my Macbook. Shit. The screen went kaput and it won't turn on now. So I go over to the Apple Center in Wheelock to have it serviced. (Fingers crossed!)
Then, seeing that I have no other computer to use here in Singapore, I head over to an internet cafe in Lucky Plaza. I have to fill out these essays for an MBA scholarship application kasi deadline na this Monday. So ayun, type type type and then the fire alarm sounds. No one paid any attention so I typed away happily. Ten minutes after, everyone was running na outside. Goodness, Kabayan Restaurant was burning down daw. So I leave and see a lot of smoke and a lot of firemen. And also, a lot of Filipinos gathering at the ground floor with their cellphones out taking pictures of the fire. Okay, not my scene. The flames can wait until after I die and get to Hell.
Sheesh. I hope my bad luck ends there.
