Placebo makes me want to move far north and start buying bath gel from Lush and dye my hair cotton candy pink and wear sparkly blue PVC pants. I think it's a combination of the '90's memories Brian Molko invokes and the fact that my favorite Canadian ever was a Placebo fan. Actually, I think the band itself is of the canuck persuasion.
