So, they had a meeting at work today to announce the outsourcing for adservices today. Being head of the online team, I am (as is my entire team) directly unaffected, my job is safe. But it still sucks, I know all the designers it does affect, having worked with most of them for years. 27 positions have been eliminated and 18 new positions have been developed to handle the remaining workload. Those who choose to apply to any of the new positions will will be tested on the various skills required for the positions and the top scores will be 'awarded' jobs.
I wonder if the first test question is "What exactly is it you'd say you do here?"
I just hope everyone has a 'jump-to-conclusions mat' they can fall back on
