"and in walked a man with his chin on backwards.."

Just a few things to document and get down before I retire to bed...

- I've finally finished JUBTV. I took my damn time but it is finally done. YEEEEAAS!! I should be uploading it piece by piece to YouTube soon but it's a bit of a mission so I'm expecting it to be a nightmare! It's about an hour long, very funny and full of swearing, nudity (luke being pissed) and general stupidity. I'm extremely proud of it!

- Until 2 days ago I had never had the experience of picking up a book and not being able to put it down. I'd only ever finished a book or two in my life and usually with great reluctance. This book was different. It's called Scar Tissue and it's an autobiography of Anthony Kiedis' crazy wierd life and it is utterly fascinating. I literally have been reading it non stop with a small break to write up a bullshit essay. I know what everyone is raving about now when they find a good book. Now with that one under the belt I want more. But not Harry frigging Potter! I hate that kid!

- The last bit of documentation is to mention the opportunity that has arisen for me in the past few days. I got a call from one of my lecturers, Davey Ray Moore and he told me that he had a friend who worked with pyrotechnics that needed an apprentice to train up and take out to do shows accross the country. Davey had mentioned my name to this guy and I called him up to talk about the position. I had no idea how big it was but he told me the following. He had just finished doing a show with Mika and the Black Eyed Peas, making things blow up for them on stage. His next job was working for the O2 festival thingy. Coming up soon is a big rave in Manchester that he wants me to attend and if it goes well I'm hired. Now, apparently the show immediately after that is with Snow Patrol and the Chemical Brothers in Ireland. All expenses paid and apparently a nice salary. The downside is that the pay will be pretty crap during my training but this is the kind of thing that would really suit me right now. I've finished all my work, on a bit of a Gap with JUB stuff seeing as Nick is away for the summer (aside from Halesworth on Saturday) and it would be a really interesting little adventure for me to go on. Give me a little more independance perhaps. I dunno, but it sure sounds exciting. Plus I can get some swish contacts doing show like that all the time. It's not about what you know, it's about WHO you know. I've always been right behind that idea from the start.

So for the rest of the week I guess I'll chill out. Going to do the Gig in the park at Haleswoth show with the boys in a few days then I'm spending some quality time with Faye for a bit. I've sure missed it being away from her for what seems like months.

Anyways. Beddie byes!
