Well I've been very quiet on here for a while. After I get an essay out the way, the last thing I wanna do is write anything I guess. That was about a month ago though, so anyways lately things have been pretty good. Lots of work and effort towards the band and lots of gigs too.

I'm now coming towards the end of my little break from touring. We did Milton Keynes, Exeter, Cardiff, London and colchester all in a row one night after another and that was knackering. The gig at the Twist in Colchester was really good. Was so nice to see some good mates come along to see us play. Plus Faye, my little brother and my parents came along, which meant a lot to me. Was good to finally showcase what I've been doing for the last 2 years of my life and hopefully make it not look like a waste of time.

Stayed at my dads for a week or so after that and got to see Faye for a bit and went to 'Go Ape' in Thetford, which was awesome. Crazy tree climing and zip wire stuff. good times..

This weekend so far has been very tiring. Spent from 10:30 yeaterday morning until midnight and from 11:30 this morning until now doing sound engineering for a festival at the Uni. Gotta go back again until midnight in a bit too. Really takes it out of ya. Especially when you have to do sound for shit bands. Anyways the pay is ok so not all bad. Just sooo tired.

Spent all of my downtime recently just watching 24. Whenever I have a brief hour to relax, it's a bowl of oatso simple and an episode of 24. Always goes down a treat. Series 6 kicks ass so far!

So anyways, this thursday the tour continues. Sam, Luke and I are flying from Bristol to Gurnsey and setting up for a big gig the following day. Then we wake up and chill out of the beach for the day until showtime. It's gonna be ace. The rest of the week should be really nice too. We've got some radio shows to do and a few more gigs and lots of sun hopefully. Really looking forward to it. When we get back we've got the beach break live festival to look forward to and then finish up at a gig in bath to round off the end of the tour. Sweet!

Right better get off to the uni again soon and get my ass in gear. It's gonna be a long one!

Ricky xx
