(no subject)
So, it looks like working remotely is a definite possibility, for a trial period at the least. I am so relieved/excited! Now I'll get the fun of being a world-traveler without the guilt of being a financial drain or the directionlessness of being unemployed all day.
Also, I will get my own laptop (hand-me-down from Jack), and I can work from the comfort of my hotel or of an internet cafe. I can schedule my day so that I have the morning off to sleep in or sightsee or whatever, since shifting work into the afternoon means that there is more overlap between Prague time and Boston time anyway.
It's also been extremely satisfying that the overwhelming response to "I need to telecommute or to resign" has been "Resign?!?!?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!"
