New Year's Eve
I have seven splendid choices before me this evening:
dreary horsey party:
dreary other party, involving six-mile minibus journey:
dreary dated Life of Brian or ghastly dated Graham Norton on TV (both were deadly boring after the first ten minutes, even before they got dated!):
reading a backlog of newspapers:
making the ninth or twelfth attempt at getting new computer out of its box:
reading something out of my huge "waiting to reread" book stack:
writing.
That will be options 4- 7 then - plus drinking ecellent Jamesons and eating delicious prawns and cheese.
