Spring has sprung!

Meredic has kindly noticed that I haven't updated for a while.
I'm fine, thank you - just a few health problems that the spring will sort out.

I've been staying with kind friends on Anglesey, but I hope to be back on the Orme soon. Anglesey is very beautiful now - I was back on the bridge at Holyhead this week. It's sad that people under about 5 ft 6 can't take a good photograph from it, because safety requires it to be
fenced in up to around the four foot mark. I noticed for the first time the pictures of St Cybi and St Seiriol - the Dark and the Fair - and the flying fish and other creatures inset in the paving of the bridge.
It's possible now to check the railway and ferry timetable from the street end of the bridge, and so work out how much time there is to visit the early church (later a school, now a place of rest and refreshment) and the later church (about which I was rude last year about its warm Christian welcomers - mea culpa! It's just that I like to be quiet and reflective in a church!
This year, I will definitely take the land train journey to the end of the breakwater and the beginning of the Breakwater Country Park walks that can take you either over or round the Holyhead mountain to the North and South Stack rocks and lighthouse.

going in the out, buses, lighthouses, seasons, boats, travel
