Two things I can't quite believe:

I can't believe just how much cashing in Warner Bros are doing! They re-released the early Red Hot Chili Peppers albums knowing that their fans would buy them and now they're going to be doing the same with eight R.E.M. albums:

Taken from NME.com:
"Each album, from 1988's 'Green' to the recently-released 'Around The Sun', will be reissued on February 14 as a two-disc set including the original album and a bonus DVD featuring the record remixed in 5.1 surround sound, as well as unreleased documentary and video footage."

It just means loyal fans of the band will have to fork out even more for albums that they have already got! I just don't see the logic of it at all. Wouldn't it better if Warner Bros put all of the unreleased documentaries and video footage onto 1 single DVD as a history of the band rather than re-release old albums?

I also can't believe Ronan Keating. He's rearranged his tour from September to December (the week before Christmas no less!), probably in a bid to get even more of his albums, DVDs and merchandise into stockings and he has released a greatest hits CD that contains a lot of old Boyzone songs that he has just re-recorded! If that wasn't bad enough, he is also re-releasing "Father And Son" on his own! Is he trying to take all the credit for stuff that he did in a band and erase the memory of Boyzone in the process? Don't get me wrong, I've never been a fan of Boyzone but surely this is wrong. Isn't it?
