"Is this the way to Amarillo..."

Today I'm feeling incredibly low which shouldn't be happening because I'm off to the West End tomorrow. My head feels crammed with all kinds of thoughts bouncing around in there and I can't seem to find any form of motivation or focus at all. I've got butterflies in my stomach which I'd like to put down to nerves about heading to London but I can't because I know deep down I'm not nervous about that at all. I'm more excited than anything but because my mind is so occupied with other stuff, it won't let the excitement out.

Last night was quite a cool night though. Kel and I went to the Wulfrun Hall to see the stars of "Phoenix Nights" put on another "Jumping On The Bandwagon" show. It was a great show and as we were sitting on the second row from the front, I managed to get up to take part in Barbara Nice's stagedive! I still can't believe that a woman as old as Janice Connolly (Barbara Nice being her comedic alter-ego) has the stamina and confidence to get around fifteen men to stand in front of the stage so she can stage-dive! It's the climax of her set and well worth seeing!

The highlight of the night though came quite early on for us when we headed into KFC to get some food before heading down to the venue only to find Patrick McGuinness and Archie Kelly (two stars of the show) in front of us in the queue! I allowed them to get their food before wishing them all the best for the show and they seemed friendly enough. :)

Urgent notice:
If you're a fan of comedy, don't miss "Max and Paddy's Road To Nowhere" on Channel 4 tonight at 9:30pm. It's the next project from Peter Kay and Patrick McGuiness and if it's even half as funny as "Phoenix Nights" it'll be a winner. :D
