What Are We Reading?
While I am here - anything good to read? I see that Pam is reading book five of the Castor novels but I still have yet to read three and four, but I will.
I just finished Anansi Boys, which was all that I expected it to be. Not my favorite Gaiman, but decent enough.
I also started revisiting Stephen King, of all things - mostly his collections of short stories. This was precipitated by watching The Mist on Showtime (?) at my mom's house where they have the cable package of the gods. I have to tell you, Stephen King is superb in those short stories.
Oh, what can anyone tell me about Lawrence Watt-Evans? Amazon has just recommended A Young Man Without Magic, to me, and it does appear to hit all my buttons.
Similarly, does anyone know anything about this - Britannia's Fist: From Civil War to World War: -An Alternate History?
Any suggestions? It''s getting cold and I will want a hoard of books with which to hole up.
