"Hello, fellow wasted person!" -Some dude I met on the street at 4 AM. God, I love college.

Friday night I did the halftime show for the Pitt-Ohio football game on campus radio. It was really fun, and I didn't make an ass out of myself. Although I did probably piss off some Yinzers when I compared Big Ben to A.J. Feeley and said the Steelers weren't going to crack the postseason. Oh well, don't shoot the messenger.

Last night I went to this pretty bitchin' party on Melwood. I didn't even know what it was for, I got an e-mail about it on Wednesday and decided to check it out. Turns out it was a fraternity thing. They ran out of beer about 1:30 but I had a pretty good buzz going by then so it wasn't a big deal. I met some cool people and it was just an overall good time. After people began to disperse some of us went down to this place on Dithridge and hung out for a little bit, then we went to the O for some food. I had the french fries, which were great, but not the best ever. Thrasher's has them beat, no question.

Anyhoo, it was now creeping up on 4 AM and I began a valiant attempt to walk back to my house in Squirrel Hill (45 minute walk, I'd say?) while completely plastered. First I went down Forbes in the wrong direction for about five minutes. Then for a while I was fine. I must have gone down the wrong fork in a road or something though because everything seemed unfamiliar and I'm pretty sure I was no longer on Forbes. So I turned around and retraced my steps. But being totally bombed, somehow or other I managed to walk almost all the way back to campus without realizing it. Basically I walked for an hour and made a giant-ass circle.

I ran into these two guys on during my quest. It was great. We were all just like, "Other drunk people! This is great!" and we talked about late-night drunken munchies and how they were headed to the all-night buffet at Eat N Park. But anyway once I realized I had basically ended up back where I'd started, I didn't feel like walking any more. And by that point, the buses had started running again. So I waited to catch the 61C back home. By the time it picked me up the time was 5 AM. It was just me, some other drunk guy, and a vagrant. I love public transportation, especially in the dead of night.

So all in all I had quite the entertaining evening, and amazingly I have only the slightest traces of a hangover. Cause that, kids, is how I roll. Having people over tomorrow night to watch the Eagles play...shouldn't be more than like ten or twelve, but it'll be pretty chill. This dude Matt that I met at the party last night is gonna smoke us out too. Sweet. I just wish we had a friggin' coffee table. Ah well, we'll jury-rig something or other and get by.

Oh yeah, Chris checked and the wireless connection we'll be feeding off from our upstairs neighbors works well. He said Andre and I might have a problem using it because we have desktops though. We'll see I suppose.

Sniff you jerks later.
