Random thoughts as I laze about on the sofa.
- Incubus are really overrated. They're so boring. I'd like to believe noone would like them if it weren't for the fact that teenage girls fancy the singer, but I think their popularity is just down to a lack of imagination on the part of a lot of people.
- How does the drummer from System of a Down not sweat himself to death, druming that hard whilst wearing a suit? Mentalist. I've decided Mesmerize is definitely in the running for My Favourite Album of 2005.
- Right at the beginning, the new HIM song, Wings of a Butterfly sounds almost Wildhearts-esque. But before long, we're back into familiar bombastic gothy pop-metal territory. The video's full of shit CGI though. That sort of nonsense pisses me off.
- Faint by Linkin Park really is a fucking killer song. And the video's pretty cool too. Which is surprising for LP, cos their videos are usually wank.
- The new Weezer video is a pretty funny, Manowar style old school metal pisstake. Shame about the song. It's crappy.
