Right, so I've been searching around for aaaaaages for a plain, black hoodie, since my old one has practically fallen apart (I did buy it six years ago, after all). However, until now, my search was to no avail, provided you disregard Carhartt, who can fuck right off if they think I'm going to pay sixty or seventy quid for a fuckin' jumper. Especially now I'm all poor.
Aaaaanyway... today I decided to head for Brighton early and go hoodie hunting, since Guildford proved useless for finding anything without a massive, poorly designed logo screen-printed all over it. So I wander into H&M, and score! Plain black hoodie, fits on my skinny frame quite nicely, only fifteen quid. And then I spot a big label stating that the jumper's 'made in Turkey.' Eeek! Do they have sweatshops in Turkey? I wish my geopolitical (is that the right term?) knowledge were good enough to know whether I'm being a sweatshop labour-exploiting bastard by buying a cheap, Turkish-manufactured hoodie from H&M. But it's not good enough. And so I bought the jumper anyway. Maybe it's ok. Turkey's part of the EU now, isn't it?
I may be a bastard.
Yes, I do worry about these things. Being an ethical consumer's hard fuckin' work though. And I'm a lazy git.
Oh, and I bought a new belt. I'm now wearing two at a time, which means I probably am a wazzock. Oh well.
**I was going to put a picture here of me in my new jumper, just by way of an illustration to break up all the words, but the definition on my phone camera's not good enough to make my body look like anything but a plain black blob. Your loss. I look hot. Perhaps.**
