Siouxsie - Mantaray
After walking through the pouring rain to Sainsbury's to get my lunch just now, and getting thoroughly drenched, I decided to buy something to make it worthwhile. So I picked up Siouxsie's new solo album (which came out last week).
It's fantastic - I'm a big fan of Siouxsie and the Banshees, and quite like most of the Creatures stuff, and this album doesn't disappoint. Far from it in fact - her voice has matured and in fact shows that she can actually sing, whilst keeping all her trademark style. More mainstream sounding, yes, but full of feeling and clever lyrics as you'd expect.
Well worth buying.
