Nice composition and great colours, with enough detail to draw you in. The seaweed is the making of it! Like it.

I agree - it's the bright, rich green of the seaweed contrasting with the sand and rich blues of the sea and sky that make the photograph. The actual subject matter is pretty boring.

I took several other photos on the beach of the lighthouse and cliffs, but it's just a distraction from the colours really.
