I got darn sick of writing strange little poems and have been inspired by either a muse or Blackmore's Night, I'm not sure which. So now, I'm working on a rhyming epic. I am having great difficulty in determining the proper approach however, I have therefore begun writing two poems using the exact same story.
Let us call this excerpt A.
The radiant meadow shone
A field of greenest grass and plant
An ancient field
With its fountain of stone
And let this be excerpt B.
Once lived a maiden in a land now lost
Who as she danced, her hair she tossed
Alone in a meadow she did dance
A lonely place where she did prance
Alone with her friendly fay
Whom she made herself from straws of hay
They are both fairly pathetic but if anyone feels up to deciding which is slightly less worse I would appreciate any comments that anyone has to offer.
