Yesterday I went to Portsmouth with Melissa. On the way home, I asked her out, with every hope and intention of getting over the awkwardness that comes almost entirely from Ryan. Once that is behind me, I have a feeling this relationship has much promise

Well, I don't know where to begin!! I understand the fact that it's high school and there's always drama... But what I don't understand is why it's SOooo wrong for two people to be happy!!? It's not the end of the world that a friend is dating someone's sister!! It's a benefit if you look at it logically, not saying that they're going to get married, but you never know... MY sister and her husband have been together since they were 15 YIKES!! Back to my point though.... When family get togethers come, at least you know that you'll have someone to joke with and have a good time together with other than family. I'm sure they won't be attached at the hip, and of course Rich and Ryan can still make time for just THEM!? Rich doesn't want to lose friendships but no one's making it easy for him to keep them? Not only is this hard on Melissa and Ryan and every friends stuck in the middle but this is causing a HUGE toll on family life and it's not worth it...
I had such a wonderful time in North Conway with my FAMILY (including you Sam), I just want everyone to get along! I don't want to offend anyone, I just don't know why it has to be this hard? Please think about what I've said!
