My driveway is barely wide enough to fit 3 cars abreast. Wes, why did you just say abreast. I know you like boobies and all, but c'mon now. Ok snap back to reality. In order to fit into my parking spot in my driveway, I have to do some finagling. Meaning, I pull in slightly, then have to pull out to straighten up. Essentially, I typically have to do a 3 point turn to get into my spot in a straight fashion...Yes, I'm aware that I used the terms pulling in and pulling out and straightening up.
So here I am, attempting to back out. Theres a traffic light near my house. When the light turns red, the third car from the front is pretty much directly behind my driveway. So far there's only 2 cars lined up, and a 3rd on the way. So I start backing slowly out of my driveway to straighten out. Of course, I have my left hand at 12 o clock on the wheel, my right hand behind the passenger seat head rest, and I'm looking at the 3rd car, a red pontiac gm (ensuring I'm not going to hit her). She apparently doesn't see me backing out and decides to sit directly behind me. It's ok, I thought, I still have a good 5 feet to move back, which should be plenty of room to do what I need to do.
She didn't realize what I was doing and thought that I was just going to back right into her. Because I was facing her while backing out, I saw her finally notice me backing out. She said "oh hell no," and shook her finger at me. She then freaked the heck out and waved her head vigorously. It was quite entertaining. She then put out her hand, palm facing me...as if she was Ladanian Tomlinson giving me a stiff arm. I laughed, and waved my "cheesy i'm a foreigner" kind of wave...Mainly to be sarcastic and indicating that I've been seeing her and in full control of the situation. She apparently didn't think of it to be amusing and layed on the horn.
I shifted into drive, pulled straight in, got out, gave her the "i'm go gangsta asian" (even tho I was dressed up from work) and mouthed "calm down stupid ho" to her.
I heart sb's.
On a lighter note, congrats to the Boston Red Sox for winning the 2007 world series. Go figure, I move out of the city, and they win. Granted, me moving and them winning are in no way related. But I kind of miss living in Boston.
