I've always loved small-press chapbooks and zines and even briefly dabbled
in publishing my own a few years ago. Alas, my zine about folk/experimental
music (emphasis on Yorkshire), magic and psychedelia folded after a couple of
issues due to lack of interest and I decided to concentrate on music. The publishing
side of Larkfall had lain dormant until now.
Next year I'll be publishing a series of chapbooks by myself and others. The
first three, written by myself, are a trilogy covering a range of the psychogeographical
concerns that tie in with the work of XETB and NDS. Currently awaiting printing
is Psychogeographia Ruralis, a short tract on the genii locorum of
wild places and music. This will be followed by Abital, part of a larger
series of written works about dew and then Zodzor Calling, a metropolitan
grimoire. The first imprint of all of these will come with some additional article.
A 6"x8" psychegeograph will accompany Psychogeographia
Ruralis.
Other underground folks are currently being canvassed for their words.
