What I'm paying over $14,000 for...
As the end of the first semester rapidy comes to a screeching halt-- in less than 18 hrs I get to leave this damn place for 3 weeks (jubilation)-- I've decided to take some time to reflect on what I've learnt thus far. Before I do so, however, one should know that my classes were: Sociology- Order and Change, German 115, History- Order and Change, and Beauty. Having informed you all on what I've atually learnt I'll inform you ab the really important stuff-- the social aspects of college. ;)
Mk..so what I learned in Soc: Not too much that I didnt already know from Soc with Mr. Z. in high school...it was kinda a refresher course. I did however learn that some people have certain mannerisms and habits that are just unbreakable. I mean as much as I liked Crone in general, there were certain things he did EVERY DAY that began to get annoying. But did y'all know he gets to visit his son Sasha in CA over break? Haha. Ok, so must of you prolly won't understand that unless you were in the class... but its funny nonetheless.
Now onto German: I learned jack shit in that class and I prolly bombed the final and thus my grade prolly slipped from the C that I was holding onto. I hated that class with the fire of a thousand suns and I hate the language. It's ugly bc it sounds like u always have something stuck in ure throat and my semi-quaso Spanish accent didnt mix well with the ugly German one. Suffice to say I'm not takin German 116.
History: Learned aboot some wars and the like. Only took 4 grades. Listened to Murphy talk aboot some stuff he knew we weren't gonna understand, rock back and forth in his chair and play with his combover. All in all it was a good class.
Beauty: Learned how to write a better paper and also that I suck at drawing. Have that class again nxt term. Blech.
Socially I learned that I get friendly when I'm livated and tend to tell secrets. Also, it's true that you can't always trust who u want to and girls, no matter how good of a friend they were/are will talk aboot u behind ure back and choose guys before u-- even if they're ugly. Molly-- Cant wait to see u. Transferring is looking better and better. Leo brought us together once upon a time and hopefully he will again.
