Ok, I could MAYBE understand that prop 8 does not deny any particular legal rights or protection (besides, yenno, the right to be recognized as married), BUT HAVE WE NOT ALREADY ESTABLISHED TAHT SEPARATE BUT EQUAL IS NOT EQUAL?! geez, supreme court. middle schoolers know that.
also, for the record, if anything about marriage is to be limited for religious reasons, atheists shouldn't be allowed to get "married" either. civil unions for everyone! keep the church and the state fucking separate. geez.
