Everything is moving at the speed of a charging elephant (which can actually be quite fast) and I'm a drunk carny inadvertently riding it while it continues its inexorable forward motion, tearing out of the circus on its way to the big city.

In June, I will leave Santa Cruz for-pretty much-ever and live in Boulder, Colorado for the summer, saving up money and being a live-in nanny for my cousin's soon-to-be-newly-adopted-baby from China.
Then, in early September, I will move to Brooklyn with Maya and Jess for an indefinite amount of time, probably years, thus beginning the next major phase of my life, that of being an adult in the world, doing things to improve it.
I am terrified and unprepared and have no tangible job prospects or sources of income except a handful of savings and a wing and a prayer.
