HAPPY 2005!!!
back from tremblant!!!! it was pretty awesome... the weather conditions were perfect for each daily activity.... we skied/snowboarded the first two days... except janice ditched me to go ski instead.. traitor:P ... but the hills are long!!! although the lift lineups took forever, it was so worth it, going up all the way in the telecabines and freezing our faces off in the "weird new country" at the summit. it was sooo cold and gloomy the first day!!!! >___< i thought my fingers had left my hands... and my face was being scratched by the crazy snowblowers.. haha.. but then the next day had clear blue skies (sort of) and we tried the north side instead of south, which had MUCH less people (therefore much more fun) and we got a wonderful view of the snow-covered trees/mountains in the distance.. and congrats to shirley!!! who made it through the long hills with much courage... very admirable
our cottage was quite the experience too.. better than i thought because of its rustic quaintness... the only problem was sleeping in the living room, where bright and early in the morning josen and lawrence would charge in loudly thereby killing my sleeping time. the beds were interesting... the couches fold down to make this tiny little mattress that me and shirley shared (hehe) and the mini one for stephie.. the food the parents made was so good!! i feel fat now... so much pasta and meat and... waffles and ham... haha and we watched a lot of random tv... bad shows... like DRAGON BOOSTER and home alone 3... yeahh.. what else... lots of good reading time... elizabeth elliot, foster... interesting old-fashioned stuff... i haven't played badminton for 2 weeks.. i think i forgot how... again.... oh and i liked our INTENSE scrabble game........ nooooo we did not surrender.... haha
snowshoeing on our last day!!! i want the 'fartage' picture.. and the moose one.... haha the time when i fell through the ice into water.. not cool...
so what's different for this year? nothing drastic, since i already set some goals earlier.. somewhere in that lj of mine.. haha.... i'll just keep working at everything.. hopefully never losing motivation, always remembering to consider myself second to others... the same old stuff that everyone wants...
