Sore.
Its funny how I just spent the last 4 days hauling junk around the house - mainly 'organizing' old test papers, handouts and projects and storing Duty Free freebies into sacks. Its the most I've done for our condo in years. The place has lit up a little, less mess more wall. I found a great pleasure in declaring Kristine Hermosa's cheery face on the cover of WOMAN as 'panggatong' - along with other various local magazines with drugged up pop stars in the pages.
All this exertion accounts for my sore arms, back and trapezius muscles - you'd have thought I'd participated in a triathlon. But I can't keep this up for too long, I might gain muscles quickly - gain weight and then where would we be? Why can't I reexperience those wonderful 3 anorexic days I had before - where the smell of fried food induced nausea and gagging and all I could stand to eat were saltine crackers. NOOO instead I had to pig out over bland Korean food, chicken hot buns and Kenny Roger's muffins at the Powerplant with my sister.
Speaking of which - Powerplant is FULL of cute/hot/passable GAY and STRAIGHT men. My gaydar went ballistic over a cute interracial couple in the supermarket line, another one shopping in Kenneth Cole and yet another trio in Kaya. 'Christ isn't anyone straight anymore?'
Woah. Its Holy Monday already - yet another Lenten season. A trip to Balanga is just what my filthy faghag self needs - I think. I've been swearing less - now that University is over. I actually bite my tongue before saying f**k now! Praise me!
All this may last before I see Gale yet again as Liberty Avenue's favorite queer - Brian Kinney. I truly wonder how much of Brian was actually, really Gale. I hear that he really gets into character, tweaking things here and there. And after seeing the first episode of Vanished - it was like seeing Brian again - but with less profanity, vanity and uh...gay-ity. So given the continuity - its safe to assume that Gale is interwoven into both characters - and you can pick out a few things - like the classic lip bite, smirk, eyebrow waggling, sass, hazel-eyed stare etc etc.
Gale was also MUCH OLDER looking - but strangely this didn't make him any less handsome or appealing. 38? OH PSHAW. What's 18 years? He's GALE MORGAN HAROLD.
Which brings me to a sad thing I have to admit. I think I'm moving on from JE - in the sense that I can't really keep up with all the fangirling I used to do. I'm still a big Nishikido fan though - in fact his latest JWEB about trains plucked a chord in me again - but I guess when you get OLDER - your taste in men gets older too - as it should.
Ryo's just an exception because he's such a darling bastard - and he's older than me ^^. Kanjani8 too - because they're loud and obnoxious - like no other. But to fangirl over NEWS? It doesn't appeal to me anymore. Save perhaps when they've got a good song coming along [and they ARE getting better].
So this'll be Ally signing off from the fangirl shift and retiring to JE support...I guess.
