Jokes

I usually think of myself as pretty good natured when it comes to jokes and pranks but there's a certain point that it's really not cool. If somebody played a prank on you and made you think somebody close to you died would you laugh and have a good time after you found out it wasn't true? Or would you get a pissed off when you found out? One thing ( Read more... )

What about the joke where Meir said that he got a girl pregnant? You didn't freak out about that! And Kristi's original intention wasn't even to pull one over on people...it was more a parody than anything else. I just went along with it because I thought it ridiculous that anyone would believe that for a second. And yeah, you are an EMT, big whoopty-doo. That has nothing to do with being socially responsible. But while being a socially responsible person isn't a bad thing, part of it is getting the facts before jumping to conclusions. xoxox

What the hell do you think he tried to do by calling you? He was trying to get facts, to make sure it wasn't a fucked up joke.

I'm sorry, but its not funny.

Or even amusing.

no, you're not amusing. this was a parody like sara said
maybe you guys are the ones with the issues if you could even believe that about me
yes you are
as for strangers, yes, i can understand they couldn't get it (though one person could tell it wasn't real) because they dont' know me...but i never thought a stranger would read my journal. look at past entries how many comments do i get? very few usually from melinda, sara, and mel.

the fact earl was calling i wasnt picking up
because i was disgusted
with him
for calling up scott and freaking out
scott called me up and told me how he did that
i was literally shocked by his stupidity...of all people...earl...a guy ive known for years.
so ppl didnt tell the truth, cuz he called up and asked
not calmly
but freaking out
he freaked out on my journal
then freaks out on scott
and freaks out on sara
and me
if he was asking for answers he wouldnt have been accusing me from the start
he would have asked calmly
its not a big deal
don't make it one silly

p.s. if Earl wanted to know the truth he wouldn't have freaked out on my journal first thing...or called Scott as the first person to call.

It was about me, if he *really* cared to know the OBVIOUS truth he would have called me up first. Not Scott, then Sara, and possibly even Rachel (Scott said Earl was going to call her). And after calling all those people he decides to call me? Scott told the lie to Earl, I didn't. Scott chose to keep it going. Earl believed it before even calling Sara. Sara just didn't stop him from believing it. I told her she shouldn't tell him the truth, why? Because I wanted the joke to be on him? Not really, like I said. I was pissed that he would believe that about me and then had the nerve to make accusations on my journal, to Scott, Sara etc...before even trying to get ahold of me.

one more p.s. maybe Earl should have done what Scott did. He called me up and left me a message saying nothing other than to call him back. I did call him back. First thing he did was ask ME. And guess what I did? I told him it wasn't true. Hmm, that would have been the easy thing to do, now wouldn't it be?

Meir getting a girl pregnant has nothing to do with rape idiot! And being an EMT makes me LEGALLY responsible to call the police, NOT SOCIAL. I could lose my medical license you fucking idiot. And I called you to make sure it wasn't a joke and told you I would have to call the cops if it was true but you still played along with it. If I did become 100% sure that it was true don't think for a second I wouldn't have turned her in, but I wasn't 100% sure so I didn't. You can make fun of me not laughing at your lame ass joke or taking my profession seriously all you want but it's not gonna change the fact that you were in the wrong.

or at least in your opinion we were in the wrong
if you can't take responsibility for what happened yourself
and you feel the need to blame
how about trying scott
he was the first person you asked
no one told him to lie
he did that on his own
i dindt even know you called him til after your phone call...OBVIOUSLY.
but the truth is yes, good job at being responsible...fucking idiot

if you really were you would have asked me straight away
that would have been the thing to do
and if you really weren't the fucking idiot here you wouldn't have believed it.

I never made fun of you for taking your profession seriously, I made fun of you for acting like it somehow made you more responsible than the average human being if any crime was commited when you were not on the job. And if you want to find out about whether or not something is real, you should call the person involved. If you were as mature as you'd like to think you are you would play that game instead of the he-said-she-said BS.
