Blech, entry. Rayshell22 MADE me do it!!
Anyways, Rayshell was talking about how Rock Lee rules (And I TOTALLY agree... yeah I really got sucked up into the Naruto fandom... Though I haven't forgotten about my Honda-Sama! *poses*), and since she asked me for my shot at my opinion on the matter, how could I refuse her request? ;)
So here goes:
Well, the first thing that got my attention was Rock Lee's, well, looks. Most people would think that Rock Lee looks a little... different. Hell, a young cousin called him "UGLY" a few times T________T Damn it, that's not the word! Anyhoo, as for my cousin, I got that boy hooked on Rock Lee pretty quick. HA! Eat that, haters! XD
Can you blame us? I mean, Rock Lee is a polite, hardworking and honorable character in general -- basically everything I'm not. XDDD I guess I can relate to him in the feeling of helplessness and weakness he experienced in the beginning. But how he deals with it is something I can really admire. I hope to have Lee's resolve to better myself one day, instead of lying around feeling sorry for myself. I can see it now... I go to Rock Lee in dreamland when I'm depressed to ask for advice, and he tells me to run a few hundred laps around the neighborhood... and see if I'm still worried about the futility of my existence after that. XP I'm a dork, so sue me. XDDD
And on another level, I really have a blast drawing Rock Lee, not only because of the difficulty, but because the design is really beautiful when you take a look at it. I like how he looks so different from everyone else. He stands out. And that's another thing I like about him.
Finally, I just love how goofy he is. Yeah he has his character quirks with the obsessive behavior and occasional gay mannerisms, but that's what makes him so great!! Better than even Narutard and Sas-gay in my opinion. *shifty eyes* Nanashi's gonna kill me. XDDD
Let's just face it, Rock Lee is the bomb, 'nuff said. XDDD
In other news, I might put up a couple pics or two of the Europe thingie next week when I get access to scanner wheee, XD Also, apollymi's francais? C'est tres bien! ;)
