At last, here are some of my favourite photos from my visit to London last week with my Mum, Godmother (second Mum!) and my brother. Group shot on the train!

Oooh what did you have there? We soooo nearly had lunch there, but then the Chinese place just looked too exciting to miss! It was very hit and miss though (one of the dishes had just plain old tofu in it... just like you'd get out of the box! I have a real thing against that stuff haha) but it was worth the experience and it was only about £5/6 each! :)
My London notebook thanks you immensely for this post! I always go to the all you can eat vegan buffet in Angel but I think I'll try this one on Lexington street next time :) I'm really impressed that your family were so up for eating in mostly vegan restaurants and that they didn't grumble the whole time. x
They are good like that :) Though I do get the feeling that it's mainly because it's a one off, and it was my treat day as I don't see them too often :P I've made a note of that buffet in Angel for next time, too! I might also try Inspiral, which was on the original list - have you ever been there?
Nope, I've never heard of Inspiral... what type of food is it?
The one in Angel even has vegan prawns! Personally I think they are disgusting but my friends love them and they do look pretty realistic. It's directly opposite the tube station so simple to find. I think it's about £6 for a sit down meal and £3 to stuff a takeaway box with as much food as you can :) Yummy!
Ooh that does sound good! There's a place in Manchester that does vegan prawns, called Little Yang Sing. I order them every time because I'm a little odd like that and can't say no to something so weird!
Here's the link for Inspiral - I want to go there for the Tiramisu! I didn't make it there because it was in Camden, though... but next time! http://www.inspiralled.net/
Oh I know! Thing is, in my head, panne cotta was going to be the most amazing thing ever... but no. I was also about ready to pop, and I knew that the banana plus cream PLUS pie all to myself would most certainly tip me over the edge, so I decided to go for something a little lighter. It was not good :(
Next time I plan a London trip, you need to warn me which chain exactly gave you food poisoning! :S
I'm glad you enjoyed them, and sorry I took so long getting them up! :)
