MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Yesterday, I was showered with gifts from the West Coast, the UK AND France. I was well and truly spoiled!

Lady watches me open my gifts!

Back when I lived in the UK, my very dear friend Donna and I used to send each other packages every so often. Donna's skill in parcel making always outshone mine by far, but this time she truly outdid herself. There is NOTHING in this parcel that I would not have bought for myself, excitedly. Sometimes I think she's better at buying things for me than I am. Here's the proof:

BUT THAT'S NOT EVEN ALL OF IT

NNNNNNNNNRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!121

Hopefully I won't miss anything on here, but here's a breakdown:

Polkadot mug with swallow in the inside. She bought this for someone else a while back, and I made a comment about how absolutely lovely it was. And then it appears in my parcel! GENIUS. I love mugs. Back at my Mum's house, I have quite a collection of them, all of which are of sentimental value. I used this one this morning for my coffee (oh hai, sleepy face):

Stumptown Coffee postcard. Along with other stickers, cards and paraphernalia, this will soon be featuring in a collage to make my place feel more homely.

Golden syrup. Fuck you, corn syrup. FLAPJACKS, AHOY!

VEGAN CHOCOLATE SPREAD!! This is the accidentally vegan kind, meaning it's full of sugar, and doesn't have a soy aftertaste. I lived on this stuff when I was in France. How thoughtful can you get?! Here is my serving suggestion:

Suet dumpling mix! My favourite meal from my pregan days was beef stew and dumplings. Now I can recreate a vegan version!

Marmite!! You can get this over here, but it's obscenely expensive, so I just never got round to it. This is the first thing I dug into, as I'd wanted my housemates to try it for ages. Guess which one's my slice ;)

Jack is the king of all things salty. He loved it:

And Kiki enjoyed it to. GREAT SUCCESS!

Moving on, there were more Stumptown coffee cards, and a sticker from Voodoo donuts.

Gluten free brownies! I'm very excited about trying these and making my first steps into the world of xGFx.

Chocolate moulds! These will be useful :)

Fat Quarter! I believe this came via Ingrid? I had a quick scan through and I like it so far. It's nice to indulge in a magazine, but not end up feeling shit.

6 xGFX vegan cookies! The flavours were lemon espresso, lemon lavender, and chocolate peppermint. I'm particularly looking forward to trying the lavender one, but they all look and sound delicious!

Go Vegan! Sticker. I LOVE THIS. I will be sticking it to my laptop :)

A bike zine! Funny story - Donna, I actually bought this for you but ended up not sending it because I forgot.

Kurt Halsey sticker <3

Deathless sticker and patch! This is one of my favourite designs; I have a Deathles cardi and I really love it.

Stencils! Donna suggested that I use these for cupcake designs, similar to my latte art cupcake.

Black pajama bottoms! Garrett always steals mine, so now we both have a pair. Hurrah!

Black 3/4 length leggings, to be worn day in day out, no doubt, once autumn comes.

And finally, Topshop pants! This is the only style of underwear I will wear, in case you were wondering ;) So comfortable.

So, you'd think I'd be all present-ed out, wouldn't you? WRONG.

My Mum got in on it, too! Everything was individually wrapped <3

JAMMIE DODGERS! I love these:

FRY'S PEPPERMINT AND ORANGE CREMES!! Again, LOVE. I miss these so much!

Dairy Free white chocolate buttons. I laughed when I opened these, because I thought they were the milk chocolate ones, which I'm not a fan of, but people always seem to buy for me anyway (I'm not ungrateful, I promise!). But these, I have never seen before. I am excited!

Dairy free chocolate lollipops. Cute!

BREAD SAUCE! Hell yeah. We had some of this with our Christmas dinner last year, and Garrett was most unimpressed. However, it is my favourite sauce. Whenever we'd have Sunday lunch, I would beg my Mum to make this. She'd make me a whole packet all to myself, and I would eat the entire thing (usually with half a jar of cranberry sauce, too!). Then, when I went vegan, I automatically had my own packet, made with soy milk! Happy days.

And that, is everything. Everything was so wonderful and well thought out. The past week or so has reminded me of just how lucky I am to have such wonderful people in my life - not just those who shower me with gifts (though that is definitely appreciated!) but those who give me emotional support, and who are just plain thoughtful. Donna and Mum fall into all of these categories, and I count myself to be very, very lucky indeed <3
