(no subject)
only 2 more days left of anti-biotics, and my throat is still a tad swollen. my body aches (as does my mind) and motrin has been my saving grace. fuck tylenol. my ear infection has shifted from my right ear to my left (while still maintaining a residual presence in the right), and this fucking heat is terrible.
blah.
tomorrow i may head to east alley to get some new music (that always cheers the riccer up!). i already know of a couple things that i need, and bill is never shy on filling in the gaps in my collection.
on a side note...
i've noticed a change in my sets, both at city club and the starbar. it seems i've gotten (or trying to get) away from the same old 3 bands that some play (myself included), and i've moved in a ... darker direction. people seem to like it.
i'm looking forward to this saturday, as backspace, chiasm, the azoic, and psyche will be at the lab. maybe this time i will actually be there to hear marc dedicate 'lost time' to 'the riccer', as i missed it when they were in cleveland. and maybe, just maybe, i'll have another pair of underwear for the gang... ;)
piotr gave me the skinny on a new backspace track last night, and it will now be played in regular rotation in my forthcoming sets, as i think it's fucking cool.
