So what did Lonnie and I do for Valentine's Day?
Well he came over for dinner which I made, it was steak, shrimp, twice baked potatoes, salad and bread. And for dessert I made peanut butter fudge brownie sundaes...mmm, everything turned out great. We had a nice candle light dinner and we toasted with champagne...it was really nice. I gave him the DVD Troy and a new 6" mattress for his futon. Now we can't feel the bars anymore!
Lonnie gave me a huge DVD rack because my DVD's are piling up with no where to put them. The DVD The Notebook (yay!!), the Gwen Stefani CD, a dozen roses, 2 little monkey's that say "I go bananas over you", a new photo album, a $50 gift card to the Gap and he took me to the movies to see the movie Hitch, which was really cute. I liked it a lot.
Now it seems like he went overboard but in reality we both spent about the same on each other. The roses were the most expensive gift that he gave me. You know those florists always trying to raise the prices on Valentine's Day. Oooh but the roses are beautiful!
Valentine's Day was really good this year...I still wish that I was able to buy Lonnie a leather jacket but I am pretty poor for that.
Last night I went to Mandi's and watched The Notebook...ooooh my God...is that Ryan Gosling hott or what??? Mandi and I cried and laughed...I didn't cry the first time I saw it in the theatre but I definitly did this time. Then when the movie was over Mandi and watched the deleted/alternate scenes and we just screamed when we saw the alternate love scenes...Ryan is just butt ass naked and it was absolutely beautiful...lol...we were a bunch of screaming high school girls last night. Good times...
Today I have class from 3-9 and then tonight is going to consist of studying, studying, studying for my History test tommorrow morning...I am really worried about the essay questions.
