Finding that perfect job

Is it so difficult to find that perfect job? A friend of mine recently quit her dream job becos it is too stressful and everyday is a bitchy day for her. She cannot fathom the fact that her boss is on PMS mode 24/7. Another friend left his job becos it is too straining on him (working OT everyday till late at nite) and having no worklife balance. Both are stuck at crossroads now, dunno where to go next.

It seems that only a minor few can get the perfect job that they want while the rest of us are just plain....unlucky. And even though you thought you had that perfect job, reality is always a far cry from your dream. Take me for eg, I thought I had the perfect job but in some way, it seems quite a sucky job (lousy benefits, low pay, endless workload, lousy pantry, lousy work culture etc.) But nevertheless, we have to start somewhere first right? That is why I kept telling myself.....max. 2 years and I'm out of this place. All I want from here is exposure and experience. I can never fathom the fact that some pple can stay there for more than10 years. *yew* What's so good about there? That I can never understand. Perhaps itz the different way we view things. But for me, I guess I can count myself as one of the "lucky" few who get a job that just "pays the rent". =p
