Back in Sg
Okay, after such a long time, it is time for me to post an entry into my rotting blog. =p I'm finally back in Sg after being "gone" for 6 months. In case you are still wondering where the hell have I disappeared to, I was in Mumbai since Jan 08. i went there for my internship at Tata Group. The initial 1 month was the toughest as we had to fulfil the study component of our program at Symbiosis International University, Pune. Being in the highlands and having inhaled tonnes of pollution, I started coughing badly and my god, the cough lasted till end Feb! So as you might have guessed, I spent 60% of my 1st month resting in my room while my frenz were enjoying themselves wif the yummy food in Pune. Hence, my impression of Pune is not favourable at all. On the contrary, Mumbai is THE place to be. It has one of the most unique culture in India (being a melting pot, the population came from almost every part of India) and one of the best place to go shopping! Gosh..i mean, where can you still find a loreal hair salon which charges you only SGD 7 bucks for a decent haircut?!! Even my regular hair-dresser who cuts disgusting hairstyles charges me SGD 18 bucks now (i recently got to know, when i went there for a haircut.....could be my last time going there to cut hair since they charge so steep)! Anyway, to cut it short, i love mumbai and my company. Tata is one of the biggest Indian group and has worldwide presence through constant expansion (by acquiring companies overseas or setting up offices overseas). Now to think of it, i kinda miss my internship liao cos i'm once again, back in boring SG!! *yawn*
