woohoo weekend
Alright so time to update on my week. Wednesday was my b-day and i wore my "kiss me its my bday pin" to school and only got 8 kisses.....come on people. Then friday i was soooooo excited to get home cause of the paul mccartney concert! It was the best thing ever!!!! This is our storry *DUN DUN!* (Law and order)
So we are driving there, meanwhile listeneing to Camp Mccartney at the wachovia center and we park in lincoln financial field. We walk a little while and people are tailgating at a Paul McCartney concert! But they were awesome and some of them were really hot and blasting helter skelter and stuff! So we are walking towards the entrance and we see Mr. Belsky, yes the M.S. music teacher! but his seats were all the way up in nosebleed! haha We took some pics by paul's signed give-away lexus and then proceeded towards the entrance where the event staff was very mean. they were strip-searching and tearing up posters(i brought one, but they didnt get to it)and he opened my mom's purse and everything in it and said we couldnt come in with my dad's camera and to go back to the parking lot and put it away. So my dad goes somewhere in the parking lot then comes back w/o a camera. I thought he left it on a car or something but he wouldnt say anything. So we go to the other entrance and they were soo nice and mellow. they were just like " can u open your purse? Okay, you can go" and so we go to find our seats and we were sitting soooooooo close.then i ask my dad where the camera is and he pointed to his sock lol so then we were waiting for like ever and finally the music got alittle louder but it was just the ghetto dj on the stage making technoey beatles songs (we booed him off) then the lights went out and there was like a biography +pics on the screen then finally, the curtain opens and boom!Magical Mystery tour!!!! They sing a few songs and Paul was soooo nice and was talking to the audience and laughing. I want Brian ray and Rusty Anderson's talented babies! tHEY ROCK THOSE GUITARs! I brought a poster with me and i was flashing it alot. it said "Sweet 16 and LOvin Paul!" and at one point, Paul goes "Thank you eveyrone for the posters but they're distracting. i'm trying to play the music and my mind's is like read it read it and then i read it and mess up on the chordes but thanyou" ANd i looked around and their were 2 people at the time holdin up posters and he goes Thankyou (to the person in the section in front of me ) and you over there and he pointed to me!!!!!!!! I was soooooooooo happy. then he sang more songs and then Brian Ray started talking about how Philly has great songs and he mentioned a bunch and then randomly said "Chuck Barry's Sweet Sixteen" and i think (atleast thats what i'm stickin with) it was sublimital shout out. He didnt wanna interupt the concert and say Happy Bday but he put it in there so he knows and i know that it was meant for the person holdin up the sweet 16 sign-me! It was amazing, the guitar solos, Hey Jude, the fire and sparks to Live and Let Die and the rockin out to Helter Skelter. It was soooo sad when it ended but they did have 2 encores!!!!! It was the best concert i've every been to. And Kristen has the nerve to tell me that she's goin to the My Chemical Romance Concert, hahahahaha her loss. I woke up the next morning to take my medical bathy thingy and phil wakes me up and i'm like" phil i had this great dream, i was at the Paul mccartney concert and..." and he's like "kasia, that was last night" and we were both sooo sad cause it went by so fast, like a dream!
then Saturday was my bday party! I think it went well. It was risque inviting people that dont really hang out with eachother but we all got along in the end. and we danced the night away to my 80's and techno mixes. thanks everyone for the wonderful gifts. I'm reallytired cause i didnt go to bed until 3am and had to wake up at 8 for work and now i am gonna try doing my homework! yay oh joy oh rapture lol
