Dance like no one's studying for philosophy.

Last day of classes was on Wednesday for yours truly. It was underwhelming. I'm going to miss being in class, and walking across to the CEC and my teachers the most. I guess that's really nerdy. But who else can I make bad english lit. puns to except Mr. Berwick? Who else can I tap dance battle other than Mr. Nadon? Who else would make a class that entirely left Gr 12 dancers to have slumber parties in first period other Mr. Matthews?

In other news... I have been in an extremely dance-oriented mood for the past two days. I haven't left the house due to having to study, but I've been wasting my time watching old dance DVDs, and spending time watching online videos at Hall of Fame. I've been jeteing around my house and researching possible UofT troupes I can audition for in September. I've been watching "So You Think You Can Dance" religiously and have yelled "JUST LET ME COREOGRAPH! DAMMIT!" a couple of times in an empty apartment. And so it begins. The life of a dancer in recession. I'm really scared of getting tubby over the summer. Not because I'm obsessed with weight issues.. (hello! circa 140lbs of Martina without a scale in sight!) but I hate feeling out of shape. It's like death to a dancer. So I'm gunna try to go to a couple of tap open classes... maybe some workshops at Vlad's or at my studio in August.

And now for something completely different!
I've been studying my philosophy slowly but surely for the past two days. I am a stockpile of philo. puns and bad jokes. Please save me before I get existential on your asses! Tomorrow I will be at Dennis', most likely, swimming and quizzing him on the cosmological argument. Then I will be watching the Italy-USA game and yelling at the TV.. hopefully in some ridiculous Italian sports bar, but if that fails, in the boyf's basement. They I go to my 3-year-old cousin's dance recital. JOY. No matter, of course, since that will be followed up by DESSERT (yay!) and refreshments at the aunt's house afterwards.

Monday and Tuesday are my only two exams. You have no idea how much I want to get those bad boys over and done with. Then comes BSS and a billion other shows, graduations and drunken parties in a short period of time before I leave for QUEBEC: DESTROYER OF SOCIAL LIVES.

cuddles, kisses and Kant
