The job dilemma
Ha! Just as I thought I'd survived the toughest part of getting a job,
now I have the joy of discovering I don't get finished work until an
hour after my daughter finishes school. This wouldn't be a problem if
she were in a public school where a bus could pick her up then bring
her to the bus terminal where I would pick her up when I was done my
shift. HOWEVER, she's in a private school, with no bussing
available.
My manager is going to try and figure something out, but I don't think it should be her responsibility. Step one is to talk to M's teacher to see if she knows of after school options. Other than that I'm currently at a loss.
