Busy, Busy
I keep meaning to write about the new job, but I don't want to jinx it.
Kidlet and I went to Orlando the first week in April for her cheerleading competition. She did great, her team placed first in their division.
A couple of weeks after that I started working for an ophthalmologist in Stoneham MA part time (just two days a week). The environment is completely different and I'm learning a lot more than I would have with my previous employer. It's a very small office, just one doctor, our billing person, the receptionist, the office manager (who is the dr's wife) and the dr's mom who does one of the tests, and one full time tech.
Bub ended up changing daycare providers. Ours closed due to a family emergency out of state. We were very sad to loose her, but our new provider is wonderful and Alex adores her.
Now that I'm working part time again (I prefer this to full time) it surprises me how busy I am on my days off. Alex is home with me on those days, which is different, and exhausting. He's VERY active. We've got some new outdoor toys (sand and water table and a tricycle) along with the climbing structure he wasn't quite big enough for last year, a play house, and a swing set. He loves to be outside, I just wish it wasn't quite as buggy as it is. Guess we'll just have to use bug spray.
