dual citizenship
so someone asked why i would want to be a canadian citizen... and my answer is, why not? so i'll have to pay taxes if i live there, but i have no plans of ever moving there. and canada doesn't require me to serve in the military or anything like that.. and since i heard about the new law, i suddenly feel more connected to my family heritage. that country where much of my family still lives, that's my country now. i've always been proud that i'm 100% french-canadian, and now i just feel more of a part of it. =)
