just a thought

Evan sat alone, like he mostly did, wondering if he could make it to the next area...not so much worried if he didn't just like the fleeting glances that appear at the corner of people's eyes. Not sure it happened but still leaving a vague trace that it was there.

Evan sat and pondered exactly how far it would be until he would be in another 'haven' or hell as it were. That was a pun he came up with years earlier and every time he said it he smiled, however briefly.

Knowing that stupid curse would never leave him, he did his breathing exercises one last time to get in the right mind set and took off north east. He could feel the pressure flexing in on him some more fierce than others but always present, the way it had been ever since he acquired that curse. He ran for three and a half minutes (not nearly the longest he'd held it before) when he found his next 'haven'.

He exhaled and resumed normal breathing feeling out all the edges of his new 'haven', he'd been stuck before in some that were absolutely tiny.

He found this one to be of a respectable size and then sat and pondered this damned curse a bit more.

Evan could never quite pinpoint the exact time he became cursed but he knew that he was.

Evan cannot survive graveyards...he cannot survive in any absolute direction of a graveyard. Directly North, East, South, and West of any graveyard somehow puts out a pulse or ley line around the entire planet and Evan can feel them.

He knows it's absurd but he cannot get close to them, they steal his very breath away and pull at his soul.

He's had the curse for years and because of that curse he is now in the awful state of being unable to pick up the pizza he ordered a half hour ago....stupid new graveyards!
