What happens to a plot-bunny deferred?
So, I keep getting these really interesting ideas for fic storylines in my head when I dream. Now, one would think that if a plot were going to reveal itself during REM sleep, it should be no big deal to commit tho ideas to paper and hammer out some dialog, right?!? Especially if I'm aiming for chimp-pounding-on-a-keyboard-caliber stories, and not I-humbly-accept-this-Nobel-Prize-in-Literature-caliber compositions.
Evidently, the process of committing said ideas to paper turns this creative thinker and fledgling fic writer into a pinhead toddler incapable of stringing words together to form coherent sentences! Cripes.
My respect for fiction writers has increased exponentially since attempting a story myself. The people in my comms make it look so easy....
